Eastbound lanes reopen on IH-10 at Monmouth after closure due to repairs, TxDOT says

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) -- Two eastbound main lanes on IH-10 East near Monmouth Drive have reopened after being shut down due to road repairs on Tuesday, according to TxDOT.

Houston TranStar also confirmed the road closure, reporting that the two lanes were closed starting from Monmouth Drive to South Main Street due to construction.

TxDOT told ABC13 that the repairs were to clear and seal bridge joints, adding that this part of IH-10 sees a lot of 18-wheelers.

In an update at about 2:25 p.m., TxDOT said that all of the eastbound lanes had reopened.
